‘All About Home Care is almost too good to be true’
It’s not us saying this, it’s one of our carers. This is what else she says:
‘I was cynical when a former colleague told me about All About Home Care because I didn’t believe that anywhere would be that different, but they are absolutely amazing. I couldn’t believe how different they are from other companies. Basically, they really care about their staff, because if they look after their staff properly, the staff look after the clients properly. I am proud to work for this company and I recommend them to everyone: to people looking for care for mum or dad, and to carers who want a good company to work for. It’s almost too good to be true.’
She’s not the only one! Here’s what some of our other carers say:
‘What’s different about All About Home Care? Almost everything!’
‘The big difference between All About Home Care and other care companies that I have worked for is that the clients always come first.’
Creating a positive working environment
‘I had been on the point of leaving the care industry as I hated going to work, but at All About Home Care I simply love my job. I am no longer frustrated and stressed, but am happy in myself and relaxed.’
‘I feel relaxed; there’s very little stress, if any, with this company.’
‘In life, you don’t often find a company where the values and philosophy completely align with your own, so when you find it, it’s worth holding onto. Unless I win the lottery, I have no plans of ever working for anyone else!’
‘I just felt like I slotted in with them; from day one, they felt like old friends.’
‘I have never known another company quite like All About Home Care in terms of supporting me in where I want to go with my career.’
‘I really feel that I am encouraged to develop within my role.’
Respecting our staff
‘It’s taken me a long time to find a company I can settle down with, that respects what the carers need and that wants to help us to develop. I feel like the carers mean a lot to the management team and that they value us.’
‘All About Home Care always discuss things with you first, and they always answer the phone or texts and deal with any queries you have straight away, whether the office is open or not.’
Standards of care
‘All About Home Care offers a very high standard of care, and I really like that I am able to look after the people I care for properly.’
‘We get lots of time with the clients and we give the care that’s needed by the client, rather than what we can fit in.’
‘Everyone gets on really well. We have fun when we get together – there’s a bubbly atmosphere.’
‘The management is really supportive, always there to help the carers, who work as a team. It’s a friendly atmosphere and a really friendly team.’
‘I have been able to build up fantastic relationships with the people I care for – they are like my family.’
‘My clients are all lovely and really appreciative of what we do – I am always getting thanks and hugs!’
Making a difference
‘Caring is a valuable job; at the end of the day I feel like I have done something worthwhile.’
‘When I get home, I feel satisfied – I feel that I have made a difference. That’s one of the things I love about working with All About Home Care; you always feel that it’s fulfilling.’
