2023 is proving to be a great year for the Sevenoaks Area
Dementia Friendly Community Charity.
We now have an amazing six Forget-Me-Not cafes running
across the district.
A café in the restored Bat and Ball Station in Sevenoaks
supported by the Town Council is proving to be the latest success, adding to
our café in Otford now in its second year.
These add to the cafes in Knole in
Sevenoaks, Westerham, Edenbridge and Hildenborough.They all offer companionship
over a cuppa, peer support and entertaining activities for people living with
memory loss.
All cafes are run by our trustees and volunteers.

Kieron Brennan, in his role of Chair, has been active with the Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks Diabetes UK Group. It is the Group’s aim to help and support people in the area living with diabetes. They do this primarily though Group meetings whose express purpose is to provide a safe, social forum to discuss diabetes and its effects. Here he provides an update of the most recent meeting.
